Just so you know

My crazy mother thinks she is taking over this blog, WRONG!!!!!!!! (she may think that but we all know that she is old and is starting to lose her mind at a not so young age, I think she is old but don't take that the wrong way people that are older than my mother because she is my mom and I'm supposed to think she's weird and old). This is my blog and that is how it is going to stay. And also I would like to announce that I have another blog with my cousins Abbi and Emma we do a TON of fun stuff like contests and what would you do if you were in this situation kind of things. It is a lot of fun and we love it to bits. THIS IS MY BLOG AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!

Pepper/Maya

Just to keep people up-to-date I may have to take over this blog. Maya seems to have a lot on her plate right now. Speaking of which, she just found out she will be playing Pepper in the musical Annie. She tried out last week and found out on Saturday that she gets to be Pepper. She was so excited! She was a bit bummed that she wasn't Annie, but she quickly got over that. She will be rehearsing this Summer and the musical is in September at the Ellen Eccles Theatre. Good job Maya!

Stratford is playing on a super league baseball team right now. He wasn't so sure of it at first, but he is enjoying it more and more with each game. He plays a double header every Saturday. The last 2 Saturdays we have been in Kaysville and Roy. It makes for a long day, but it has been fun. We get to go out to eat after the game and the kids think that is great.

Griffin is playing spring soccer and doing great. He has scored a few goals and gets really excited. He loves to throw the ball in and kick it off. He also loves to help Dave mow the lawn. He could hardly wait until Dave got home yesterday so they could go and mow.

Oliver is at a busy stage, but he is also so dang cute! He loves to say whatever the kids tell him to say. Our favorite is that he can say "Lily." That is his friend. He says his L's perfectly. It is so cute!

Brawl

Well, I am going to post for Maya today. She may not want this out there but I am going to post it so she can remember it. She called me from school sobbing and that she wanted to come home. I told her I wasn't bringing her home but I would come and talk to her. So.... off I go to the school. She runs out to the car crying, jumps in and says she did something she shouldn't have done. Oh no. She said some boy screamed at her as she was walking by him in the lunchroom. She smacked him upside the head with her fabric lunchbox (I say fabric so you know it is not a hard plastic one). Apparently she packs quite a punch with a swinging lunchbox. He was crying and got a welt on his face. She was so upset and felt so bad. To that I say, true you shouldn't hit people. But, to him I say, "please don't scream at my daughter as she walks by!" Oh what to do. I am just waiting for a call from his mom or the principal so we can go talk this out. Or... maybe it just a 5th grade boy/girl thing and he just really likes her! Anyway we may be off to the store after school to buy a king size candy bar to say sorry to this boy.

5th Grade!

Yesterday I found out who my new teacher is. His name is Mr. Allen. I wasn't planning on having a boy teacher, but it happened. I hear he used to be a rock star. So, sometimes if you come to school a bit early you can see him jamming out in his classroom. Every week he does a drawing for candy bars and I am really excited for him to be my teacher. But I still want Mrs. Dean. The End.

SPIRIT

Today in school I got a spirit award from the Wellsville Mile. My teacher gave it to me and I was way surpirsed. I had no idea I was even going to get it. When she called my name I was like "oh my gosh!!" Then I practically ran up there. I was so happy and so glad that everyone thought I had so much spirit while I was running. I love the Wellsville Mile.

The Lightning Thief

This book is probably one of the best books ever. Infact, I know it is one of the best books ever. I recommend it for anyone! It's about all of the greek gods and a guy who has to get Zeus's lightning bolt. Because Zeus thinks Posidon, Percy's father, stole it. So Percy has to go on this big quest just to get a lightning bolt. I know, it sounds boring, but you would not believe what he goes through! The end.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

On Friday I went to Alvin and the Chipmunks with my mom and my brothers. It was one of the cutest shows I have ever seen. It was way funny. I recommend that you take your kids to that movie. It was the best. We each got to pick out a candy bar to take to the movie. I finished mine at the very first. It was good.
**Side note from mom: If you ever take 4 kids to the movie by yourself you may want to take a valium or ask your dentist for a never ending supply of the gas they use. Within the first 20 minutes of the movie Griffin had spilled his skittles all over the floor and Oliver had a newborn poopy diaper. You know the kind...yellow...runny...all over his clothes. Did I check the diaper bag to make sure my wipes hadn't dried out?? NO!! Thankgoodness for running water that can re-wet a dry wipe. Also thankgoodness that I bought extra treats to sneak into the movie theater so I could replace Griff's skittles. And make sure you do not go to Alvin and the Chipmunks if you have any sort of headache.**

Self Checkout at Maceys

Yesterday I bought a few things at Maceys. I bought 2 yogurts. The flavors were raspberry and cinnamon roll. I bought them myself through self checkout. It's so fun. I got to do it all by myself. It was so cool. Did I mention I did it by myself, with my own money. This morning I had the raspberry and it was so good. My mom bought me 2 apples and I don't have to share wiht anybody. Not even my brothers! Isn't that so cool. I love self checkout.

I can't wait for summer vacation

It is so cold right now and I just want to get out of school. I want summer vacation cuz it is hot and I want to live where Brie lives.

Aunt Tetrazzini

On the 17th we were in Sam's Club. We ran into some people my dad knew. One of the people that he knew he called Aunt Tetrazzini. It was because of some pasta she made but that is a different story. So when my mom and dad were talking with her I brought up a Miley Cyrus CD to my mom. Aunt Tetrazzini said she would buy it for me. We all laughed and then left. Then about 5 minutes later Megan ( aunt tetrazzini's niece) came up with the CD and a $10 bill. She said it was from Aunt Tetrazzini. My mom wouldn't take it. Megan said Aunt Tetrazzini wouldn't take it back. So I ran up to her and gave her a big hug and said thank you a million times. So I bought the CD. I tried to give her the change but she wouldn't take that either. So now I have a new Miley Cyrus CD and I love it. Oh and I have $1.75 too. I think.

Coloring Contest!!

About 3 weeks ago we were making dinner in our kitchen. When all of the sudden we got a call. It was from Zion's Bank. The person on the phone said I had won a coloring contest! My mom said I would be excited. I was! When she was done on the phone she said I had won first place! I got $15 and set up a bank account.

Stratford's Birthday

Stratford's birthday was way fun. We had cake and ice cream, went swimming, and went horseback riding. I fed him breakfast in bed and sang happy birthday. He got a skateboard, a board game, and tons of lego building stuff. His birthday was so fun. At the swimming pool he went off the diving board and down the curvy slide all by himself, no life guard. It was the best summer day yet.

Yea! It's the read-a-thon!

I had a read-a-thon on April 8th instead of reading group. Reading group is fun, but read-a-thon's are way better. You sit there and read for an hour. How cool is that? It's pretty cool for us 3rd graders because we get them a lot. I read "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing." It's in the "Fudge" series. They are really good books. I like them a lot. They are fun. I love Read-a-thons!!

All that work for something!

I love a monkey's uncle. That is the jazz dance that won at our dance competition. I think. It may have been our other dance. I had so much fun. Although it was really long until my jazz dance after my lyrical dance, (that's ballet). Again, so fun! After that I got to go to Jamba Juice. Yummy! I got Aloha Pineapple. It was really good, you should try it sometime. No really, try it. I really love dancing and it something I want to do for the rest of my life. Yes, life!

What, What? It's rearranged!!!

It all started when my mom and brother's were at the airport picking up my grandpa. My dad and I were all alone. I wanted to rearrange my room and I had it all planned out, so, we did. We did it together. We had to mess up my clean room. I hated it, but, it was fun. So when my mom tucked me in that night she got really surprised. And, that is the story of how I changed my room.

How Fun is that?

Today I am going to name all of the fun things that have happened to me. This is going to be a very long post!
1. My neighbor's Britney and Katelyn are so fun. I have 3 things that I do with them. I play their Wii with them. This year we built a horse/polarbear/cat/sheep/playland out of snow. It was insane. And in summer and spring we have picnics and sometimes in the winter we have indoor picnics.
2. I have a best friend Kaitlyn. She rocks. She and I write books. Right now we are writing one called "Halloween in Hollywood." Last month we made posters for a business that we are going to start when we are teenagers or when we can actually get a job.
3. I take piano. It is way fun. Although my teacher is retiring because she is having her first baby. It's a BOY! How cute is that?
4. I do dancing. With my best friend. It is way fun. We are doing one to the song "She loves the Monkey's Uncle." It is a cute song.
I love the fun things that I do. Although my mom does yell at me, my life is still fun.

I love going to school. I have the best teacher in the world. Her name is Mrs. K. Her real name is Mrs. Knighton but we have to call her Mrs. K because there is another Mrs. Knighton in our school. Mrs. Knighton is Mrs. K's mother-in-law! Isn't that crazy! I also have tons of friends. I can already name 6 of my friends. Kaitlyn, Brindley, Maddie, Emily, Janelle, and Gwen. They are all great friends. I walk home with Gwen and sometimes Emily too. I like to play with Maddie. I know the girl I can always talk to is Brindley. And Kaitlyn is my best friend. All my friends are pretty cool. And a little bit crazy. But that's how I am too. I love school too much!
